Libertad de Expresion y el Respeto entre Pueblos 

Hay una gran confusion en el mundo actual en cuanto la frase “Libertad de Expresión” que se ha codificado en la primera enmienda de la constitución de estados unidos y que es utilizada en el mundo occidental por los gobiernos neoliberales como arma de guerra en contra de intereses que interfieren en sus planes hegemónicos en el campo económico, politico, o ideológico.

Estoy hablando particularmente en la manera que el ataque al periódico satírico Charlie Hebdo, por tres desquiciados, esta siendo utilizado y sera utilizado como estandarte de guerra contra el mundo musulmán donde quiera que se encuentre. Se utilizara como el equivalente norteamericano de utilizar “Remember the Alamo” para arrebatar la mitad de territorio mexicano en su guerra expansiva del “Destino Manifesto.” Aun hoy esa frase se recuerda por la ultra derecha en su guerra en contra de los pueblos originales que aun vivimos y vemos estos territorios como ancestrales. Pero en el caso de Francia sera el grito de guerra mundial para arrebatar los recursos naturales del medio oriente, Africa, India, Pakistan, y todos esos territorios idealizados por Marco Polo, como el origen de las especies, telas preciosas y recursos naturales por el cual se invadió desde el medio oriente, India, China, Africa, y hasta la propia Abya Yala, (America.)

Alguien podrá decir que fue un ataque al derecho individual de la expresión por Jihadists atados a enemigos de la libertad de prensa y los derechos individuales de todo ser humano. Pero es mucho mas que eso. Es la reacción ciega de los desposeídos, a una embestida global contra pueblos ancestrales con culturas enraizadas en la tradición que nos puede o no gustar, pero que al fin y al cabo pertenecen a los pueblos del mundo y que tienen el mismo derecho a vivir y subsistir como parte de la humanidad.

Fue Confucius un filosofo Chino que en sus reglas para el buen funcionamiento del gobierno con la población a la que gobernaban que dijo, “entre los individuos como entre las naciones el respeto al derecho ajeno es la paz.” Esa frase después fue repetida por el único presidente 100% indígena que tuvo Mexico, Benito Juarez; que también se enraizaba en la filosofía indígena de nuestros pueblos ancestrales. Y eso es lo que falta en este debate sobre “La Libertad de Expresión.” ¡RESPETO!

Yo estoy de acuerdo con la primera enmienda de la constitución que garantiza la Libertad de Prensa, La Libertad de Libre expresión. Desafortunadamente la Libertad de Expresión se ha vuelto libertinaje. La Libertad de Prensa se ha vuelto caricaturas insultantes a los valores mas sagrados y tradiciones con el fin de destruir sin necesidad de disparar, lanzar bombas, o misiles. Pero las palabras, las imágenes, en la era de comunicaciones mundiales instantáneas, son mas poderosas que una bomba atómica.

“Es mi derecho individual,” es un escudo para arremeter en contra los Musulmanes, Cuba, Venezuela utilizando medios informativos privados o individuos de renombre para ablandar gobiernos no afines a los intereses corporativos de las clases elites. No es por nada que Enrique Pena Nieto anda regalando televisiones en Guerrero y Mexico entero; Es la “Libertad de Expresión,” de Televisa, donde se reduce Ayotzinapa, a un crimen local y se protege al Narco Estado Corporativo de Mexico.

Where the Spirit of Truth Lives

There is great confusion in today’s world regarding the phrase “Freedom of Expression” which has been codified in the first amendment of the United States Constitution. Today it is utilized as a war weapon by the western neoliberal economic powers in their hegemonic quest to control the world;  economically, politically, and ideologically.

I am talking specifically in the manner that an attack by three alienated individuals on the French magazine Charlie Hebdo, is being utilized and will be promoted as the war cry against the Muslim World wherever they may be. It will be utilized as the equivalent of “Remember the Alamo;” Cry utilized for the land grab of half of the Mexican Territory in the Manifest Destiny expansion wars. Even today, “Remember the Alamo” is utilized by the extreme right to rally support against the original peoples that still reside in our ancestral lands. However, in the French case, “Je Suis Charlie” will be the battle cry utilized to grab natural resources in the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan, and the territories idealized by Marco Polo as the origin of the spices, precious garments, and natural resources that served to invade all those territories including Abya Yala.,(America).

The argument now is that it was an attack on the individual rights of self expression by Jihadists tied to the enemy of Freedom of the Press and individual rights of all Human Beings. However, it is much more. It is the blind rage of the dispossessed to a global attack against ancestral peoples with cultures rooted in tradition. We may agree or disagree with their practices but they are practices that belong to long standing cultures with the same right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as part of the human family.      

It was Confucius, a Chinese Philosopher that wrote in his prescription for good government, “among individuals as among nations, respect for the rights of others means peace.” That phrase was later repeated by the only indigenous President Mexico has ever had, Benito Juarez; a phrase also rooted in indigenous tradition among indigenous nations. This is what is lacking in the debate about “Freedom of Expression.” 

RESPECT!

I agree totally with the first amendment of the constitution that guarantees “Freedom of Press,” “Freedom of Expression.” Unfortunately Freedom of Expression has become freedom to disrespect and insult. Freedom of the Press has turned into insulting satirical cartoons to the most sacred values and traditions without the need to utilize rifles, missiles, or bombs. Yet their destructive effects can topple governments, traditions, religions and become weapons of mass destruction.

“It is my individual right,” is an idea promoted to invade collective communities from Syria to Cuba and Venezuela by utilizing private owned communications or famous media personalities to soften resistance by governments that oppose the economic interests of the corporate world. It is not by chance that Enrique Pena Nieto is giving away digital televisions in Guerrero and all of Mexico. Televisa’s “Freedom of Expression reduces Ayotzinapa to a local crime and protects the Corporate Narco State of Mexico.
