To speak of reform in the area of immigration policies of any American State of this continent without addressing the violation of the Right of Self Determination of Indigenous Peoples is blatant DENIAL of the HISTORICAL DEMAND of Indigenous Peoples against the Colonizer States and their settler societies with international borders institutionalized under the Republics of the Americas (all of them) as bastards relics of the Divine Right of Kings of Christendom and the Doctrine of Discovery 1492, the Papal Bull Inter Caetera 1493, the Requierimiento of 1513, the Monroe Doctrine of 1823, Johnson v. M’Intosh (SCOTUS) also of 1823, and in particular by the Treaties of Guadalupe Hidalgo 1848 and Gadsden Purchase 1853. [USA-Mexico].

The French were arrogant and Eurocentric in their thinking, and were eventually deported back to Europe. Today we face the same battle, and must recall the same courage as in 1862. But today our weapons are not instruments of destruction and death. Today we are called to battle not in a military campaign, but against the doctrines of cultural supremacy, racism and fear that would deny the reality of our common humanity that we share with each and all.

More than just a historical commemoration of the Battle of Puebla,
Mexico in 1862 the indigenous ceremonies related to 5 de Mayo have an
ancient astronomical significance. It is during these days celebrated
annually by the Indigenous Nations of Mexico, that a certain
constellation of stars gains prominence over the southern horizon in Anahuac for
the first time since winter: the CHACANA: the Southern Cross, also known as the
constellation of the Confederation of the Condor, Tawantinsuyo.

The three steps represent levels of attainment of
consciousness in the three 'worlds' or tiers:
* Hanan Pacha: the upper
world of the stars, celestial beings and gods (also represented by the condor)
* Kay Pacha: the middle world of Mother
Earth and human life (also represented by the puma)
* Uqhu Pacha: the lower world
of the underworld and death (also represented by the snake)
Central hole
The central hole represents the Incan capital of Cusco,
the portal from one tier to the next, and the Eye of God.
Twelve points
The entire symbol additionally represents the cyclical
year, with each of the twelve corners corresponding to a month.
Four arms
The four 'cross' arms represent:
* the four directions of the compass,
* the four 'classical elements' of earth, air, water and fire,
* the four main stars of the Southern Cross, an important constellation
for the Inca, who believed that was the centre of the Universe.

Indigenous Community Police of Tixtla, Guerrero liberate Commander Naúm Santos Bartalo

The Mexican Army implemented a checkpoint at the highpoint
of of the colony of Indeco on the Chilpancingo-Chilapa state road, in order
that the armed community police could not enter the state capital.

A contingent of the civilian police of Tixtla gained entry
to the capital city of Guerrero, Mexico today aided by 2500 teachers of the
state teachers union CETEG. The
military could do nothing to stop them.
Mexico. - Members of the Community Police of Tixtla Township of Guerrero gained entry to Chilpancingo, armed and supported by 2500 teachers of the State Coordinator of Education Workers in Guerrero CETEG.
The statutes of the Regional Coordinator of Community Authorities (CRAC), provides that community policing forces cannot leave their indigenous jurisdiction, so as not to intersect the zone of institutional state police.
Mexico. - Members of the Community Police of Tixtla Township of Guerrero gained entry to Chilpancingo, armed and supported by 2500 teachers of the State Coordinator of Education Workers in Guerrero CETEG.
The statutes of the Regional Coordinator of Community Authorities (CRAC), provides that community policing forces cannot leave their indigenous jurisdiction, so as not to intersect the zone of institutional state police.
But 2500 teachers supported the 30 community police who
arrived armed with small caliber rifles, and who remained in the middle of the
contingent, and so the military could not stop them.
The contingent then headed to the offices of the Attorney General's Office to protest the arrest of teacher Mario Torres Durán during the blockade of the Highway of del Sol, and demanding his release.
The contingent also then went on to the PGR to liberate the commander of community police, Naúm Santos Bartalo who was arrested last night by the army and state police for carrying a class of firearm reserved exclusively for the armed forces.
Upon reaching the checkpoint, the commander Naúm Santos Bartalo was released and returned to the community of teachers CETEG by the state director of governance, this "exchange" was made in order to persuade the community mobilization from entering Chilpancingo, however this plan did not work as then the teachers union protected the armed elements of Community Police and as they entered the city from right in front of the eyes of the military.
