La Huelga del Pueblo, the Koch Brothers and the History of Boycotts

On November 30, 2011 the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) will be convening their annual conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.  ALEC is the membership consortium of lobbyists that represents the private prison industry, a $5 billion dollar a year profit making machine that thrives upon the suffering and oppression of migrant workers and their families.

It was ALEC that crafted the language that became AZ SB 1070, and it was ALEC that drove Wisconsin over the brink of public policies for the common good into the control of the extreme right wing corporatist agenda.

ALEC is a pet project of the Koch brothers and the prime instrument in the US for the agenda of ECONOGENICS.

About Boycotts
Cesar Chavez
"The consumer boycott is the only open door in the dark corridor of nothingness down which farm workers have had to walk for many years. It is a gate of hope through which they expect to find the sunlight of a better life for themselves and their families."  Cesar Chavez

Background:
The Truth About AZ SB1070
“There’s a concerted effort behind promoting these kinds of laws on a state-by-state basis by people who have ties to white supremacy groups,” she continued “It’s been documented. It’s not mainstream politics. (Legislators) are being approached by folks, who are front organizations for white supremacist hate groups. They propose the language of these bills and get people to carry these bills in the state legislatures.”  Representative Linda Chavez
