Parents of Missing 43 Ayotzinapa Students in Phoenix to Demand Accountability and Follow Through on the Investigation of the
Forced Disappearance of their Children in Mexico

Phoenix, Arizona – Two of the parents of the 43 Ayotzinapa students, missing since September 26, 2014 after their Forced Disappearance at the hands of police and military agents of the Mexican government will arrive in Phoenix this week.  They will be participating in the launch of a month-long international campaign of solidarity with the Ayotzinapa Mothers and Fathers as the 4-year anniversary of September 26, 2018 approaches.

A public protest and March for Justice is planned on Monday September 27, 2018 in front of the Mexican Consulate in Phoenix from 4:00-6:30 PM, located at 320 E. McDowell in Phoenix.

Hosted by the Human Rights Commission of the Comités de Defensa del Barrio, Clemente Rodriguez Moreno and Cristina Bautista Salvador, representing the Mothers and Fathers of Ayotzinapa will be attending a series of community events, conversations, and exchanges with the Comités de Defensa del Barrio. A press conference is scheduled for Monday, August 27.
